PARIS, N.Y. -- The two students killed in a crash in Oneida County last night were architecture students at Syracuse University.

Deputies say Wang Young Gun and Oh Saem were riding in a car when the driver lost control and crashed on Route 12 in the Town of Paris. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other SU students in the car were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputies believe the students were on their way to New York City.

SU Chancellor and President Nancy Cantor released a statement expressing sympathy for the victims' families. The university will have counseling services available during the Thanksgiving break.
