Teams finish strong in Science Olympiad

URBANA-CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- It was a successful weekend in Illinois for two local teams competing in the national Science Olympiad.

The Eagle Hill Middle School team tied for 11th place in the competition. They've been New York State champions for eight straight years. Their challenges at the national level included 46 events ranging from chemistry and physics to computers and astronomy.

The Fayetteville-Manlius High School team also competed in the Science Olympiad, placing 10th in their division.
