OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- TV crews from Good Morning America were in Oswego County Tuesday, helping out a local family.

Nancy and Tom Gunn recently wrote the show, hoping to get help consolidating their debt.

With the help of ABC Consumer Correspondent Elisabeth Leamy and Oswego County Federal Credit Union, they were able to save upwards of $60,000 and the family says they hope the episode will help others do the same.

"I think once people have seen how they've done it for us, hopefully they'll be able to help others people by watching our story on Good Morning America and seeing how it's done, hopefully they will be able to change some things for other people also," said Nancy Gunn.

ABC has not yet announced when the episode featuring the Gunn family will air.
