SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A group of young entrepreneurs were awarded for their emerging business.

The Second Annual Meeting of the CenterState Corporation of Economic Opportunity was held Tuesday in downtown Syracuse. The theme this year was "Engaging Business for Regional Growth."

Area companies were honored for their role in growing entrepreneurship in the current economy and this year's winner of the $200,000 grand prize was Brand Yourself. The personal branding company is the youngest company to ever win the competition.

"We're just incredibly proud to be part of a new community that Central New York is really helping push forward and we believe that it's just going to help attract and retain that much more talent in the area from all the young college kids coming out with good ideas," said Brand Yourself CMO Patrick Ambron.

ZetrOz LLC of Ithaca was named runner up and received $50,000.
