Group wants elm trees brought back to Elm Street

By: Web Staff

Pittsfield residents could be seeing more green if one group has its way.

A group of citizens is pushing to have the elm trees brought back to Elm Street. The street was once lined with elms. But the last one was cut down more than 30 years ago after Dutch Elm Disease ravaged the population.
