Professor inspires children to study science
ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Clarkson University professor continues her work to get children excited about science.
Dr. Dana Barry has been keeping busy since we spoke with her last August. Barry has received international attention for her books and programs that inspire children to learn about science. She was recently the key note speaker at an international conference in Japan where she shared the importance of teaching the subject.
"As we all know, the world is changing, global warming, various things are happening. We have to be able to think outside of the box to creatively solve these challenging, ever changing problems so that our global society can exist," said Barry.
