BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Johnson City man was arrested Monday night on charges of illegal possession and distribution of heroin.

According to the Broome County Sheriff's office, Molock Dixon, 34, was arrested on Beamon Street in Binghamton with 50 bags of heroin. Dixon's being charged with a class B felony. Another warrant was issued for a search of his Johnson City home.

Dixon is being held without bail after his arraignment in the City of Binghamton court. The heroin had a value of $1,000 to $1,500.
