TIOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- More than 100 people will be laid off at a circuit board plant in Tioga County. Sanmina SCI, an electronic manufacturing company based out of San Jose, California, said it will cut 110 jobs in Owego.

A representative from the Labor Department said they're not sure of the exact reason for the layoffs, but they said they've already contacted the employees and have been referring them to the Broome-Tioga Workforce for assistance.
