Utica Police release drug raid numbers
UTICA, N.Y. -- Utica Police have released numbers from their drug raids over the past year, and it appears their aggressive campaign is working. Since January 1st, police say they made 149 arrests, 106 of those being felonies.
They also seized more than $53,000 and three hand guns in their investigations. Public Safety Commissioner Daniel LaBella says the success is partially due to an increase in personnel on the Metro Drug Unit.
