SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The weather is making a mess of air travel with flight delays and cancellations across the northeast. At Hancock International, about half the flights have been either delayed or cancelled.

At JFK Airport in New York City, the average delay is more than three hours, at LaGuardia more than four hours. Those delays that are having the real impact on flights out of Syracuse. Therefore, travelers are at the mercy of Mother Nature and other airports.
