Malone native competes on "American Idol"
MALONE, N.Y. -- "American Idol" fans in the North Country might recognize a familiar face among the Season 8 contestants. Malone's own Nathaniel Marshall sung his way to Hollywood and is still in the running for the show's top spot.
Marshall was featured on Tuesday night after the judges questioned his song choice. But the North Country native impressed them with his passion and he moved on to Wednesday's group round for another victory.
