War anniversary vigil held
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- It's been six years since the U.S. invaded Iraq. To mark the anniversary, members from the Broome County Peace Action Coalition joined with other social justice and faith-based groups for a candlelight service in Binghamton. They met at the Unitarian Universalist Church.
From the beginning, their message has remained the same -- immediately end the occupation of Iraq and bring the troops home.

"There's protests in Washington, all over the country and this is our symbolic way of showing how we feel," said organizer Susan McAnanama.
A peace walk is also scheduled for this Saturday, where people will walk from Confluence Park to the Federal Building on Henry Street.
