SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Some of Syracuse University's most popular players from the past and present came out to help a local children's center Saturday.
It was SU Legends and All Stars Day and fans got to meet some of the University's most well-known athletes. Proceeds from the event benefit the new Family Support Center at Elmcrest Children's Center. The center has outgrown the current site and will use the funds for an expansion project.

"We have had this center for 15 years and we have probably served two or 3,000 youngsters and their families in this time. To have an event like this allows us to really build this new building and enter into a new generation of helping young people and their families,” said John Henley, Executive Director.
The new center will help children who have to be removed from their homes.
