ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- One of the suspects connected to the death of New Hartford Police Officer Joseph Corr will be extradited back to New York. Corr was shot and killed following an armed robbery at a jewelry store in 2006.

Robert Ward appeared before a New Jersey Court Wednesday, agreeing to come to New York to face charges. Police say Ward and another man, Marion Pegese, were part of the jewelry store heist that led to Officer Corr's death.

Pegese was arraigned last week in Oneida County Court. The Oneida County DA plans to try Ward and Pegese at the same time.

The District Attorney's office isn't sure when Ward will return to Oneida County.
