VERONA, N.Y. -- Turning Stone Resort and Casino doesn't want to take any chances with your health. To ensure the health and safety of employees and patrons, it has taken a number of safety precautions during the flu season.
The casino also has a ventilation system that filters the air 11 times an hour. It offered flu clinics for the public and its staff earlier this fall and more hand sanitizers are being added around the resort.
"You'll see those throughout the facility; actually put them in the restrooms. I would like to point out that it's important that people still use soap and water to wash their hands and use a hand sanitizer as a second means of defense as they exit the restroom," said Fire Marshal Terry Winslow.
Winslow says another flu clinic is planned for January.
