MILTON, N.Y. -- MVP Health Care hosts a free lacrosse clinic conducted by Syracuse University women's lacrosse coach Gary Gait.
This clinic is part of their MVP Kid Power Program which is dedicated to helping families get up, out, active and live well!
Hundreds of aspiring young athletes came to learn instructional demonstrations and skill drills from Gait. One consultant for MVP says the motivational speeches influences kids to live a healthy lifestyle.
"MVP is really excited to have Gary Gait. We have about 250 kids from the region, boys and girls and here's here for Kids Power Program, encourages kids to live a healthy lifestyle,” said Kathy Dwyer, consultant for MVP Healthcare.
"I’m here for the kids, and it is because of a great partnership with MVP. I get the opportunity to come and meet the local talent," said Gait.
The MVP Kid Power Program began hosting free youth clinics in 2004. Gait joined the clinic circuit in 2009.
