CAMILLUS, N.Y.-- Two men are recovering at Upstate University Hospital after their pick up truck crashed into a Camillus home early this morning.

Sheriff's deputies say Michael Whyte, 54, of Auburn went through the intersection of Hinsdale and Warners roads, went up an embankment, and hit the house around 4 a.m. Whyte and his passenger, Keith Ferrin, 52, also of Auburn had to be extricated from the truck.

Both suffered non-life threatening injuries. Two people were home at the time, but they were not injured.

Deputies say Whyte will be charged with DWI and several traffic violations.
