OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- Congressman Bill Owens got a chance to tour three growing businesses in Oswego County Monday. Owens visited the Sunoco Ethanol Plant, Bird's Eye Food and Oswego Hospital.
Along the way, he discussed job growth and green technology that's been implemented in all of the places. He says these and other successful businesses are helping the economy grow in Oswego County.
"It certainly makes me feel a lot better as I travel around and I'm hearing from people who are growing their business, not cutting," Owens said.
Owens is facing a challenge from two Republicans in this November's elections, Matt Doheny and Doug Hoffman.
