ELMIRA, N.Y. -- It's the 54th annual Downtown Elmira Holiday Parade. Hundreds of people lined the streets Friday morning to get a glimpse of their favorite television and movie characters.
Everyone was on hand, from Mickey, to Big Bird, to Captain Jack Sparrow.
The parade started at the corner of Water Street and the Clemens Center Parkway and lasted about an hour.
While there were the traditional marching bands and fire trucks, no holiday parade would be complete without Kris Kringle wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.
