POTSDAM, N.Y. -- The Princeton Review has named Clarkson University one of the most environmentally responsible colleges in the United States and Canada.

Princeton Review selected Clarkson because they have several environmental initiatives underway. The University also has an Institute for a Sustainable Environment, which houses various programs, student activities and environmental research.

As part of the honor, Clarkson will also be featured in "The Princeton Review's Guide to 311 Green Colleges: 2011 Edition."
