ELMIRA, N.Y. -- Florida folice are now calling an Elmira man a suspect in the disappearance of a missing police cadet. Kelly Rothwell of Indian Rocks Beach, Florida has been missing since March.

Police have named her boyfriend David Perry, a suspect. Perry left Florida for Elmira the day after Rothwell's disappearance.

Last week, two Florida detectives were in Elmira searching for evidence on her whereabouts.

Police say Perry has been displaying bizarre behavior since March and has not been cooperative in the investigation.

Perry has not been charged in Rothwell's disappearance, but was arrested last month on unrelated charges of grand larceny and insurance fraud.
