JEFFERSON COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Canadian woman was taken to a Watertown hospital after an accident on Interstate 81 in the Town of Alexandria.

The woman was headed south on 81 Thursday morning when State Police say her car went off the road. Her vehicle hit the guard rail and rolled over several times before ending up in a ditch.

Police say it appears she suffered a broken arm, but is otherwise okay.
