SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The driver of the truck that got stuck under a railroad bridge in Syracuse has been ticketed. The accident happened at the bridge at West Genesee Street and Erie Boulevard Thursday night.

There were 34 cows onboard the double decker truck. Seven of them were killed in the crash.

James Monroe, 35, of Pennsylvania was ticketed for exceeding the height of the bridge. Police say Monroe was trying to follow street directions, and likely missed the signs that warn drivers of the bridge height.
