BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. -- The owner of a karate studio in Endicott has been sentenced for having sex with a teenage girl. David Rexer, 40, will spend five years on probation after pleading guilty to third degree rape late last year.

Rexer admitted that on Christmas Day back in 2005, he engaged in sexual intercourse with a sixteen year old girl. The teenager was a student at Rexer’s Karate Academy on Washington Avenue.
