SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police are investigating a shooting that sent a woman to the hospital. It happened on the 800 block of Butternut Street just before midnight Saturday.
Investigators say there was an argument between two people. The suspect got a shotgun out of his trunk and fired four times into the other vehicle.
Yvonne Stokes, 34, was hit in the side by birdshot. She was taken to Upstate University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as being in his 20s and driving a 90s Cadillac STS with New York plates.
