STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. -- An Elmira man is facing charges after allegedly making sexual advances toward a 13-year-old.

The sheriff's office says Trevor Greene, 20, was arrested after it was reported that he had made multiple written demands to a 13-year-old in the Town of Rathbone to engage in sexual activity with him. The child reportedly denied those advances and no contact was made, but Greene is still facing charges for endangering the welfare of a child.

Greene was arraigned Monday afternoon and sent to the Steuben County Jail on a thousand dollars bail.
