ELMIRA, N.Y. -- Elmira police say the body of a missing Elmira College student may have been located in Arizona. Jessica Ronhock, 21, was last seen on January 10th by her roommate.

Officials tracked her credit card in Florida, Texas and Arizona. But use of the credit card and phone stopped January 18th. Ronhock mailed a journal to her parents in Massachusetts explaining why she left the area.

In a message posted by the administrators of the "Find Jessica Ronhock" Facebook page, her parents say Ronhock lost control and went off the road while driving on Route 17 between Phoenix and Flagstaff, Arizona. They say the crash was in a remote area, and was found at the bottom of a 200-foot ravine by hunters.

Officials in Arizona say they are now waiting on final confirmation from the medical examiner to identify the body found in the car.
