SENECA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A crash in Waterloo has killed one man and sent two others to the hospital.

State Police say the crash happened around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Brewer Road and Hecker Road. They say Mary Sindoni, 43, was driving westbound on Hecker Road when she failed to yield the right of way and drove into the path of a vehicle. A passenger in her car, Samuel Sindoni, 58, died at the scene.

Mary Sindoni was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for serious injuries.

The driver of the other car, Robert Iredale, 52, was taken to Geneva General Hospital.
