Horse seized from Georgetown property
MADISON COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Madison County woman faces an animal cruelty charge after Sheriff's Deputies took an emaciated horse from her Georgetown property.
Officials said Constance McGee failed to make any improvements to the animal's health during the length of the investigation.
The horse was seized last Thursday, and is being cared for at a rehabilitation facility in Clinton.
McGee is charged with Failure to Provide Sustenance. She will appear in the Town of Georgetown Court next week.
