ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Trucks of all shapes and sizes will be on display in Central New York this weekend. The Regional International King of Trucks event returns to the New York State Fairgrounds.
Thousands of trucks from across the Northeast are expected to be on hand to show off everything from huge wheels to stereo systems. A number of events are planned throughout the weekend, including a show and shine field, an ATV ride and drive track and even inflatable games for the kids.
Organizers say the event is a great way for truck lovers to not only show off their hard work, but also to learn.
"People can actually come out and use their trucks. They work hard on them all year long, this is a great place to come and show them off and talk to other guys who have those type of trucks. Kind of compare notes and, you know, see what they want to do to their truck or see what their next project is," event director Rob O’Connor said.
The event runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
