STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Corning Museum of Glass announced a multi-million dollar expansion project. The $64 million project includes the addition of a new North Wing to showcase the museum's contemporary glasswork.
It will also make the museum one of the world's largest facilities for glassblowing demos, with room for 500 viewers and a 360 degree view of the process.
The 100,000 square foot expansion is slated to be done in 2014.
