BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- The city of Binghamton is preparing for a zombie invasion. City officials say a mob of people dressed as zombies are expected to participate in this month's First Friday Art Walk, which will start at Imagicka on Court Street at 6 p.m. and travel throughout the city.
Participants will end at the Lost Dog Café, where a Zombie Dance Mob will perform Michael Jackson's "Thriller."
The city is encouraging the public to take part in both the walk and the dance mob.
"We're encouraging everyone to come out and meet the undead. I don't know how many of you have met the undead but this is my first experience and it’s been a very pleasant one," said Mayor Matt Ryan.
Interested participants can learn the steps to the dance mob performance tomorrow at the Lost Dog Cafe at 9 p.m.
