Elderly woman injured in robbery
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Detectives say a 95-year-old woman was injured during a robbery in Syracuse. It happened around 2:40 p.m. Sunday along Churchill Avenue.
According to police, a man on a bicycle approached the elderly woman and pushed her to the ground. The woman's wallet was stolen with cash and credit cards inside. She was taken to the hospital for a shoulder injury, but is expected to be okay.
The suspect is described as a male in his 40s or 50s wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants.
