SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Last week it was his 900th win, and now, Jim Boeheim has reached another milestone: tying Bob Knight for second all-time on the wins list in division one basketball.

Syracuse played host to Central Connecticut State Monday, overcoming some early struggles to win by almost 40. For Boeheim, it was win number 902.

After the game he had this to say about the achievement and his 50 year career at SU.

"It's great, I'm just so proud to come here and stay here, and the support we've gotten all these years in our program and from the fans and all the great players I've had," said Boeheim.

SU now begins their conference schedule in their final season of Big East Play. They start it off tomorrow night, when they play host to Rutgers.
