Fugitive arrested in Pennsylvania
STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. -- After evading authorities for more than four months, a Town of Bath woman has finally been arrested.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s office says Billie Joe Ribble, 35, was arrested after an undercover sting located her in Mansfield, Pennsylvania. Ribble had been running from authorities since October, when she allegedly stole items worth more than $12,000, including 15 long guns.
Deputies say she was hiding in locations around the state, including Corning, Albany and multiple locations in Pennsylvania.
Ribble is facing burglary and grand larceny charges and more counts are pending. She is being held without bail in the Pennsylvania State Police Barracks.
