Police search for suspect in girl's disappearance
By: Capital News 9 web staff
This morning police are still looking for the man who they said kidnapped a 5-year-old girl from Syracuse.
Brittany Fish's mother told reporters the child disappeared at about 6 p.m. on her way to a friend's house. The mother said she called the home to see if her daughter arrived safely and called police when she learned she hadn't.
A property owner found Brittany bound in duct tape under a tarp at an abandoned warehouse in the suburbs of Syracuse on Sunday.
Police said Brittany Fish had no life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition at University Hospital.
Police said they're looking for a balding man with a medium complexion in his 40s. They believe the girl was taken in a white older model four-door vehicle.
