Stolen grave markers recovered
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police said they've found 40 metal cemetery markers stolen from the graves of war veterans.
Police said the markers were found at a scrap yard and were headed for resale as scrap metal. Workers at the yard noticed them and contacted police.

The markers were traced to Madison County, but police are not saying which cemetery they came from.
