Man charged with raping 13-year-old girl
ALBANY COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Troy man is charged with second-degree rape on allegations he had sex with a 13-year-old girl.
State Police in Loudonville arrested Arthur Durivage IV, 29, on May 30. He is accused of having sex with the girl on three separate occasions in September 2007 while in the City of Watervliet.
Durivage is employed as an investigator with the New York State Department of Labor. State Police said an investigation revealed that on several occasions, Durivage e-mailed with the girl while at work, using a Department of Labor computer.
The Department of Labor released a statement saying Durivage has been placed on unauthorized leave without pay while they review further disciplinary action and await the outcome of the criminal case.
Durivage was arraigned and sent to the Albany County Correctional Facility on $75,000 bail.
