Brewery making special beer for premiere
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse businesses are gearing up for Friday's premiere of "The Express."

The Empire Brewing Company will debut a new beer to honor Ernie Davis and Syracuse University. Brewer Tim Butler says it will be a fun and unique twist on all the festivities taking place Friday.

He says while it's not quite ready yet, the beer will be served at the Landmark before the premiere and at the restaurant on Walton Street starting at happy hour. It will be made orange with an all natural food dye, but won't taste much different than a standard light beer.

"Everything just fell right into place. I did a little experimentation with it and it's going to be nice, it's going to be cool. The beer is going to be bright orange. It's going to look like the color of the SU football uniforms and it's really going to add something special to the event I think," said Butler

Empire may serve the beer all year if it's a success.
