DeLee pleads not guilty
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The man charged in Syracuse's latest homicide pleads not guilty. Dwight DeLee, 20, was in city court this morning. He is charged with second degree murder for the death of 22-year-old Moses Cannon.

On Friday night, Cannon and his younger brother Mark drove to a party on Seymour Street to meet up with friends. The police said several people were shouting slurs at the two openly gay men. They said DeLee came up to the car and fired a 22 caliber rifle at Moses and Mark Cannon. The bullet hit Mark in the arm and then hit Moses in the chest. Moses later died as a result of his injuries.
