NORTH SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The left lane of 481 South is closed in North Syracuse due to an overturned semi truck full of glass beer bottles. The lane is closed from Exit 8 at Northern Boulevard to Exit 7.

The Department of Transportation says the lane will be closed for most of the evening and possibly into the night. It will take an estimated six to eight hours to unload all the beer from the wreckage.

The driver was taken by ambulance to the hospital and there is no word on his injuries.
