SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse doctor will spend four years in prison for his part in a prescription drug ring.

Harry Black, 62, was sentenced in federal court. He and his wife admitted to writing drug prescriptions for thousands of pills to patients in exchange for some in return.

Police raided the couple's home in Jamesville last year and discovered hundreds of prescription and illegal drugs.

Dr. Black will serve four years probation after his prison term. He was prosecuted along with his wife and 15 other co-defendants.
