SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- This Halloween marks the eleventh anniversary of the death of a Syracuse woman. Sherry Schaub, 30, was strangled in 1998, her body dumped near a creek in the Town of Pompey.
Her murder has gone unsolved and each year around the anniversary of her death, her family and friends hold a vigil in her honor.
"It's kind of a dead end street as of this moment because it's been eleven years, it's actually eleven years tomorrow and nobody has come to justice and that's what we want, we want justice because my sister is not forgotten,” said Monica Schaub, Sherry's sister.
Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call State Police at (315) 677-3123.
