NORTH SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A North Syracuse restaurant has been ordered to close by the Health Department.
Onondaga County Health Commissioner Cynthia Morrow says Fresno's restaurant was closed Thursday. Morrow says it was shut down because of issues meeting health requirements and expectations.
The restaurant had been fined in the past following a series of inspections in 2008, 2009 and 2010, which turned up health code violations.
Among the violations in the most recent inspection were improperly stored food, sanitation issues and chemicals not properly labeled.
Fresno's will remain closed for seven days.
