VAN BUREN, N.Y. -- Fire has destroyed the barn of a logging business in the Town of Van Buren. It started around 7 p.m. Tuesday on Gunbarrel Road.

All the logging equipment inside was destroyed, but there were some pieces of machinery outside the barn that were saved. The 40 by 60 foot building is located a ways away from the road, causing a challenge for firefighters.

No one was injured and the cause remains under investigation.
