ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Syracuse man accused of an August double homicide has pleaded not guilty.

Martinous Hudson was arraigned Wednesday on charges of second degree murder, attempted murder, robbery and criminal weapon possession.

Police said that on August 6th, Hudson and three other people were driving around while he and another passenger smoked a drug called "water." Hudson then allegedly started ranting about the devil and shot and killed two of the people in the car and injured another. Police say he then ran off and stole a car at gunpoint.

Hudson is being held in the Onondaga County Justice Center without bail. He is scheduled to be back in court on September 21st.
