SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Two men have been indicted on attempted murder charges following a shooting last year.

Tyce Smith, 24, and Tommy Davis, 33, are accused of trying to kill Tyron West on October 7th, 2010. Smith was arraigned Friday morning on charges of attempted second degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and hindering prosecution charges.

Davis is expected to be arraigned on Monday. He is currently awaiting trial for murder in connection with a shooting that happened on the same day

Prosecutors say Davis shot and killed Kiwan Rush, 17, on the 100 block of Eastman Avenue. Prior to the shootings, Davis had spent time in prison for weapons possession.
