SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- It won't just be your taste buds having all the fun at this year's annual Taste of Syracuse; it will also be music to the ears of the thousands who will embark on downtown Syracuse this June.

New this year, the Blues, Brews and BBQ festival is included as part of the event, with .38 Special headlining on the main stage.

Galaxy Events General Manager Pam Levine said, "We're incorporating Blues, Brews and BBQ in so it's sort of a festival within a festival concept. Whenever possible it seems to us it makes a lot of sense to bring large festivals downtown. We love being downtown. Taste of Syracuse brings 170,000 people every year. It seems like it's a natural fit."

Taste of Syracuse is June 1st and 2nd in and around Clinton Square.
