ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Fire investigators continue to search for the cause of Saturday's fire in the Rochester that killed two people. It happened around 1 a.m. on the city's West side.
A viewer sent YNN video of the fire at 50 Home Place. Officials said neighbors were the ones to call 911.
The Fire Chief John Caufield said crews arrived on scene minutes after the first calls were made, but the fire was already burning strongly. A second alarm was called for the fire.
Chief Caufield said a man and woman, both believed to be in their 40's, were found dead inside the home.
Fire investigators said at this point there are no signs of working smoke detectors.
