Suspect exposes himself to child in library

ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Onondaga County Sheriff's office is trying to identify a man who was caught exposing himself to a child at the Salina Public Library.

Police released this surveillance photo from around 5 p.m. Monday. The man left the library as the young girl alerted an adult about what happened. He was wearing a maroon hooded sweatshirt and black knit hat at the time. Investigators say he also had rectangular style reading glasses with metal rims.

Police say he left in a newer model, white or light grey Toyota.

Anyone with information about his identity is asked to call the sheriff's office at (315) 435-3051 or send an email to sherifftips@ongov.net.
